The Alphabet is a long term project, comprising 26 CDs of instrumental and/or experimental music. Each CD features tracks with names beginning with a specific letter. The song names were originally written while I waited in the car in a downpour for my wife to arrive at Northwestern so we could locate and visit our son Trevor who was participating in a computer camp. (Why is that important? It's not.) Since then I've added a few song titles and deleted a couple of uninspiring ones. I've been sporadically writing songs to these names ever since - trying to work through the CDs in something near alphabetical order. Dozens are underway but incomplete. The ones that are complete are included below.
