In 2005 or so, I acquired the appropriate pieces of gear to make an attempt at live performance looping. I find myself in the basement (or garage, in the summer) on a sporadic basis noodling away in this endeavor, and you could probably consider this form of creation the epitome of self-indulgence. It's often done by one person, creating all the sound, to an audience of him/herself. It's also a great deal of fun. Early on, it was apparent that I should record everything because half the fun is hearing the piece develop. Unfortunately, I'm not organized enough to do that, so a good many loops are lost to the aether. This may be considered a good thing or a bad thing, depending on your taste. These are unedited. You've been warned.

Loops

my favorite loop of the day . this was great fun to play
09.16.06lp08
acoustic melodies on acoustic melodies . lots of super wet magnetic path improv melodies and lead on top of those
09.16.06lp05
abstract fun with harmonizers
09.16.06lp03
investigating some of the non-sos potential of the dd-20, at first . then the eventide with on-the-fly loop mangling . then some novation supernova 2 live patch exploration

I was going for a bluesy riff at the start of this one . i like certain parts of this one a lot, while others encourage me to rethink my "no content edits" philosophy.
